There’s afternoon had a really nice opportunity to meet my new friend Derek. He and I are working on a project around the hackathon at MIT and a couple of weeks. He happen to be up in Vermont visiting his dad who himself was up here just visiting. The two of them showed up at our house around 5 o’clock in derricks brand new Tesla model three. Actually think Derek’s dad was even cooler than the Tesla .

The two of them Diane and I got in that car which drove us pretty much automatically out to Stowe for a really great hibachi dinner.

It was so fun listening to Derrick and his dad Joel talk. Or more like two really good friends then father and son. They were hilarious and super smart. It was so great getting to meet them face-to-face.

The car is amazing too. I’ve been in Tesla’s but not when this high-end. This is the performance model that does 0 to 60 in just over two seconds. It also has a full navigation package. It was able to get us to the restaurant and back with only minimal help from the driver. Derrick is already wired the thing in through node read so you can control it from his phone. It was like visiting the future

I’m really looking forward to being with the both of those guys again in a couple weeks doubt it MIT. It’s going to be a hoot!
