eustress

PRONUNCIATION:
(YOO-stres)
MEANING:
noun: A positive, beneficial form of stress.
ETYMOLOGY:
Coined by the endocrinologist Hans Selye (1907-1982). From Greek eu- (good) + stress, from shortening of distress or from Old French estressei (narrowness or oppression), from Latin strictus, from stringere (to bind tight). Earliest documented use: 1950s.

I love that feeling.. don’t you ?

It’s like seeing a flock of turkeys crossing the road and stopping just in time for them to cross safely

Sunday night – home again

Diane and I got home from France today around 5 PM. It was a long day of travel starting at 6 AM Frances time. What a great trip we had. It was so great being together with all those friends and seeing Hannah and Olivier 😍 get married.

It’s also wonderful to be home. The doggies missed us and we missed them.. We took the dogs for a walk and couldn’t help noticing that fall is coming… You could see signs everywhere.

The ferns are dying

Some leaves are starting to change

It’ll be winter soon enough… But what a summer we had!
