I got home around four and started helping Diane cook. We had friends john, lauren,!Tatiana and Ben over for dinner tonight and we wanted to make a super low carb super delicious dinner. Diane made Parmesan salmon, baked radishes, twice baked cauliflower, cheese plate, broccoli and brussels sprouts slaw, Flax best crabcakes.. For dessert she made chocolate avocado pudding with whipped cream… And homemade macaroons.Ben also brought ice cream…

What an amazing meal and almost 0 carbs. How cool is that?

Thursday night – launch

Fascinating day!… Today is the day that Mit launch the new Schwartzman school of computing. It’s $1 billion investment in artificial intelligence. Today’s meetings or so while the varied and interesting. We had the Royalty Of Mit… The president, the Provost, the Dean’s… We have the governor of Massachusetts, we had heads of companies like Google and remotely Microsoft, Apple, AMD. We had Henry Kissinger, Tom Friedman, musicians, scientists, Politicians, policymakers, investment bankers, professors, students, entrepreneurs, secretaries of defense, industry icons,.

It was the most interesting day of talks that I have ever seen

I was very happy because my friend and executive vice President John from Ibm announced a donation of a computer that I am going to build… It’s called Citori and it will be by far the largest computer on Mit campus… In fact it will be one of the top 50 computers in the world.… And it’s named after one of my dogs “satori “… How cool is that? With that will actually be able to advance the science of artificial intelligence quite a bit here at MIT

I ran into so many great people today in the audience… Including my cousin Mark, my friend Randi from Ibm, and so many other people I knew from so many different corners of the earth. Everybody was here to watch this launch. It really felt like a “moment”I ran into so many great people today in the audience… Including my cousin Mark, my friend Randi from Ibm, and so many other people I knew from so many different corners of the earth. Wednesday night – I got a ticket

Long and fun day. Woke up at 5 AM in order to get to Albany in time for the opening celebration of our AI center there. It’s the sister department to our group here in Cambridge. They are concentrating on AAA hardware… And they have a really great agenda. I was so proud of my friends Jeff and Manish. They had really put together a very nice launch

I left very inspired!… Was about a 3 Hour Dr. home and I had a ton of calls… But it 3 PM exactly I had to pull off the side of the road and get on the burning man website. My friend Georges wasn’t able to go so he had given me his place in the ticket lottery. Every year I apply for this and most years I don’t get tickets… But this year I got them right away. It was pretty exciting. Sad thing is I can’t go this year because we have a very exciting wedding to go to. But I’m always happy to get tickets for my tribe. I’ve already Found a home for them

OK… Long an exciting day tomorrow. Got to go to sleep.

Tuesday night – FaceTime

I think one of the worlds greatest mentions is FaceTime. It “almost” changes the nature of travel. I’m able to talk to Diane almost every day… And get a slice of what’s going on at home. Even if it’s dishes

Or it’s friends like Nate and Kevyn over for yoga

FaceTime makes me a little less lonely… But sometimes it makes me a little more lonely… Is it technology always like that kinda neutral?

Pondering that as I fall asleep
