Just finishing up a wonderful birthday eve.… We got about a foot and a half of snow last night so we woke to beautiful white mess. Diane and I we’re heading out snowshoeing and Citori looked at us like we just couldn’t leave her behind. The snow is too deep for chai and it was too cold so she stayed behind but Satori managed to keep up
Mid day we headed into town for some shopping and I bought myself a birthday present… We needed a new guitar in the house. All of our good guitars including Sam’s are now either with Max or Gabe… The only one I have here is one I bought in a pawn shop in the late 70s.I found a really nice mid range Martin guitar. The really nice people at Advance Music gave us a great deal on it. That’s where we do the Sam Cohn musical soul award. They’ve been such great supporters.!
We spent the rest of the day puttering around the house. The temperature was dropping and it stayed about zero… Are use the time to fix ‘Diane’s phone
Around 530 a bunch of us headed to single pebble for a wonderful meal

It was already well below zero when we headed down to phone to hear worm dogs. It was a packed room with people waiting outside to get in. This band just keeps getting better. It was really sweet somewhere in the first set they all sang happy birthday to me. It was so sweet. It was an awesome show
It was 10 below zero when we got home a few minutes ago. I’m just sitting here waiting for the fire to come up so I can go to sleep.
Tomorrow’s my 61st birthday. Feeling very grateful and blessed to be surrounded by family and friends.…
MOre tomorrow
