Wednesday night – Happy Earth Day

Woke up to a light covering of snow. Great way to Mark Earth Day. I saw this cartoon come by in my daily feed from the New Yorker

I gave a short birthday talk to a bunch of new hires today talking about some of the green computing and Cove and related work that we’re doing. Made me feel a little better to think that at least I’m doing something to help.… I am pretty inspired by all the stories I hear of things people are trying in light of current situation.… Maybe this cover thing will generate a more lasting awareness of how connected we are to each other into the planet

Made me laugh… That’s it I finally got around to really celebrating the day tonight with my favorite flavor of ice cream

Happy birthday dear planet… We love you

Tuesday night – abridged

I got a seat this sheltering in place thing makes blogging much harder.… Not much happens these days… So when it comes around to writing at night I really have to dig deep.… The only thing I can remember from today is a beautiful run this morning before a day full of rain. I ran down to the long trail bridge and stood out in the middle of it. It was still below freezing… But the sun felt so great. It was fun to stand out in the middle of that bridge with no other person insight

Not a bad way to start a day

Sunday night – housecam

At long last… I’ve been able to hook the camera outside our house up to my webpage.… I like the fact that our kids can see the place where they grow up.… Starting tomorrow I’ll also have some time lapses there. Take a look.
