Monday night (delayed) – Project Lou fox

Last night around 11 PM we got Max and Gabe on Zoom so we could give Diane one of her birthday presents. Maks had let us on an incredible project that many of you reading this or part of it. We asked a bunch of Diane’s friends and relatives to do a simple set of movie shots holding a specially designed piece of paper. Max then worked his incredible magic to stitch them together in a way that they could spell out a story as it appeared the paper was being handed from one person to another. It was absolutely incredible. It was so fun watching it with Diane… So many of her friends took part.

Max is still putting some finishing touches on it… After that I’ll send it out to everybody who participated. It really is pretty amazing.

Diane definitely could feel all the love that went into it

I’ll share the whole thing as soon as i can

Saturday night – outside day

Super nice day here in lockdown. ‘Diane and I got in quite a few walks. A few dog walks, I run up to the gorge… And a hike up in the hills off of Dugway.… I even took the opportunity to jump in the Huntington River… There was still ice around. Didn’t stay in long. I’ll spare you pictures because I didn’t bring my bathing suit :-)

OK… Going to bed early… That should feel good.

Stay safe everyone

Sunday night – Forks for the win

It’s funny what keeps us occupied during our confinement.… I noticed today that for the very first time in my recorded memory we actually had more forks in the dishwasher and spoons… Imagine that…

I mean imagine that I would even notice such a thing

But it’s a big deal here in the household… We’ve even been singing about it

It’s a wondrous world !

The rest of the day was less remarkable but still fun. Diane and I found a void in the electronica doggie fence. She had repaired it once after friends truck pulled up and cut the wire .but it was bad weather and didn’t get a chance to solder it. Luckily she remembered where it was we were able to dig it up and I was able to solder it . It was surprisingly fun trying to trace the wire and find the cut under a foot of dirt

Later in the day We spent some time teaching Hunter To weld.… I had just enough shielding gas for about half an hour of playing around. He’s a natural… Will get some more gas and do some more. I’m not sure any welding stores are open right now

OK… I’m being called downstairs for a movie. That’s one of our apocalyptic guilty pleasures.

More tomorrow

Friday night – Hunters birthday

Super busy day at work… The days just seem to be getting longer. It was nice to stop work around six because it was our housemate Hunter’s 26th birthday. It’s so great having Hunter and Kyle here in the house with us.… They do so much help around the house… And there’s so much fun

Kyle made hunter a wonderful vanilla cake… (Hunter doesn’t like chocolate… Hard to believe but true)

We also made homemade pasta… Something we haven’t done in a long time. Stuff like this makes the Quarantine more fun

It’s definitely spring now.… So beautiful out. Hope to get some hiking in tomorrow
