I saw yesterday that the US lost 4085 people to Covid 19 the day before . That’s almost exactly the population ofOur town of Richmond Vt ( 4081) . That would be our entire town gone . That brought the statistics home to me more than anything else I have ever heard and broke my heart

Yesterday seemed liked a weird dream. In Spent the day looking for any sign of normalcy in the world .. and there were a few !
I had a super busy day but diane and i managed to get out for a lunchtime ski over near the shooting club
One other fun thing today as I worked I was uploading the nearly 76,000 photos from my phone into google photos . I’m hopping to use its search capabilities to help me better manage the tons of pictures I take for this blog , etc. it’s been uploading for 2 days so far and about half way done
One interesting thing about googles facial recognition software is that it’s given me about 400 ‘faces so far thatb I have to a sign a name to. Many are. Friends, family and coworkers .. bit many are folks that I just met once at events somewhere in the planet . It’s a great brain exercise to try to cosmup with everyone’s name and. Story ..
Doing that brings each of them to mind which is fun
It’s like getting to meet them again for a little bit whiteout leaving the couch. !
I I’m very hopeful that this is a wake up call for everyone. I’m watching the ratification of the electoral college votes… And I hope I am seeing Are coming together around this craziness… Time will tell
