Monday night (delayed) – shofar so good

Today was Rosh Hashanah… The start of the Jewish new year In one of the most holy days in our religion… We celebrated by getting on a plane at 8 o’clock in the morning (left home at 4:30 in the morning)… And flew home to Vermont. That puts you in a pretty contemplative mood. Seriously Rosh Hashanah isn’t something I take pretty seriously because I consider the previous year in the next year… And this is he here with big changes after a year of big changes after a year of big changes… Enough to make one extremely contemplative.

The flight back was uneventful and it was so wonderful to be back home

We mark the day by taking a nice long 7 mile hike up in Honey Hollow. You can already see the signs of fall

We end of the day with apples and honey for A sweet new year.

I hope it’s a sweet new year for all of us

שנה טובה ya’ll

Nite all, nite sam
