when our son Max was very young… He went to a preschool where every time a kid left the school for any reason they called it the “happy last day”… A little bit of a rhetorical trick to turning otherwise bitter sweet event into a happy one
Today was my “happy last day” at Ibm. Truly it is been an amazing trip. I am really touched by all the letters and emails and texts I’ve gotten from people…Even though I’ll actually be back as a part-time might be in employee in a few weeks…
‘Diane came back from Boot Camp this morning and brought homemade Whoopie pies that one of her friends have made… He sent one home for me for my houses last day
I have to say it was a pretty funny feeling when I finished my last meeting at five… It was with some of my favorite people some of the other Ibm fellows. They gave me a nice sendoff…
And I immediately ran upstairs and rang the bell…

thanks To everyone who reached out to me in the last couple of days… It means so much to me. I miss you all but I’ll be back part time in two weeks
