Woke up very early today and took another nice run around Nicolette Island

Mom woke up with chicken short walk and I came back and packed up. Said Goodbye to my 62-year-old stuffed bear “Beary”. And then drove us over to Karyn and Jeff’s.… I did reduced mom the current Jeff about two years ago I knew they’d hit it off… Of course Covid got in the way. But now everyone’s reconnected. We made pizzas on the grill that were so delicious

Very nice hanging out and talking to those guys. There’s some of my most trusted advisors when it comes to major life decisions

Two flights later and I am in Portland. Diane and GabÉ pick me up at the airport brought us back to Gabes and we had pokey bowls and hung out with Sean and Fabian. Now we’re at our Airbnb about half a mile away they were probably pretty sleepy… So I have the salt in here. It’s so nice to be out here and see GabÉ

Very happy to be in Minneapolis celebrating Mother’s Day with my mother… And my sister who is a mother .. I’m glad that Dianne is with Gabe getting tHaving a great Mother’s Day out there…

We celebrated the day bye going to a touch football game (jake) ,a lacrosse game (Theo) an adaptive baseball game (Ellery was the announcer) , and a hockey game)Theo) …mary and John have pretty active kids



Just by coincidence Theo was wearing number 10… Which was Sam’s number and then Gabe’s number in LaCrosse !

We spent the rest of the day around Mary and John’s making stuff in the basement

I got to check in with Diane and GabÉ are in Portland… They were spending the day gardening which was sounded really nice

The we had a great sushi dinner for Mother’s Day…

Then a little post dinner Mischief

Greetings from mpls, city of contrasts I had a beautifully peaceful and provledged day in a city that doesn’t offer that to everyone . I woke up early and let Myles out of my moms apartment at

Bd went for a run along the Mississippi. This side of the city is beautiful and calm

Many of the beautiful restored new buildings aliongg the river are empty .. I think it’s a combination of covid and the cities recent turmoil. I snuck in to one just to look around . Beautiful and kinda spooky

When mom woke up we took a really nice 5 mile walk along both sides of the river .. then later o went for another 3 mile walk . It was a really nice way to spend a fat. We visited the same artist colony (the garage)we’d seen the day before .. again no one was there to ask about the place

We then headed over to mary and John’s . We all went to see Theo’s hockey game which. Was really fun . He’s a great skater ! He won nearly all of his fave offs and scott red for his team

It was fun hanging out with jake , mary and john. Whole we arched

The day ended una real restaurant ! My first inside dining in 14 months . Nice Mexican restaurant with real margaritas!

It almost felt normal !
