Monday night AM-PM

I had a strange night sleep last night… I open my eyes I couldn’t quite figure out where I was… I looked at my phone and realized it was after 8 AM. I had completely slept through my alarm .. no scratch that… I actually set my alarm for 6:30 PM instead of 6:30 AM… I already slept through two meetings…

An You know what…?

It felt great 🙂

Sunday night – VideoSyncracies

Dan and I are under taking a big project and get all of our pictures and videos digitized and then one place. Today we decided to go through and dig up all of the old videos that we’ve made it with the kids or the kids have made of other stuff.… I originally thought I had found the two boxes including the tapes… Dianne help me dig board we found three times that much. Buckley our friend Paul Gittelsohn at videosynchrocies (

Which I’m proud to say I helped name about 30 years ago)

Is in the business of doing exactly that kind of digitization.… Can’t wait to see some of the stuff that’s on here… Weddings, birthdays, parties, and who knows what else. Always bittersweet since sam died… Though it’s always so great to see him in these videos !

It’s amazing that we still have all the cameras that took these

We went for a great run this morning in a bit bright sunlight. Luckily we now have running shoes with studs… Just like studded tires so ice doesn’t bother us. Later in the day we went up to Jenn and Tim’s with their friend Darell we manage to do a socially distant hike and another snow Mandala

Looks like we’re getting rain bit weak… So we’re enjoying as much of the snow as we can. It’s actually been a great winter

More tomorrow…

Saturday night- another puzzle

Nice day.. not much going on. We finished our latest puzzle before breakfast

What does that say about our pandemic weekends that finishing a puzzle is big news. ?!

We got out for about 2.5 hours today on snowshoes . It was Annapolis know that cut the crunch out of that ice layer we got the other day. We hiked up the vast trail and then headed north on the long trail. We had dropped some weight points there the last time we did it in reverse so we picked a place and headed down a steep decline and bushwhacked half a mile down the hill see our favorite cabin… And intercept another trail we knew going back. Even though our track was less than 4 miles ,

It was pretty intense up and down. At one point I fell into snow up to my hips… Diane had to help me dig out so I can get my snowshoes out. It’s still pretty amazing out there

That’s about it for today… Heading to bed. More tomorrow !

Friday night – sam scones

Today or good friend Deb brought over the new version of Sam Scones . SamStones are a “cook it yourself” Scone mix with a SamStones inside each bag… The packaging is really beautiful. Deb and a Hamnah have built their company Douglas Sweets up from nothing to a shortbread phenomena . Their stuff is sold all over the place through local stores and national outlets like Whole Foods . As part of their mission, they’ve decided to create SamScones as a fundraising project for the Sam Cohn foundation Which we started to support causes that Sam loved like music, snowboarding, summer camps.… Every time someone buys a bag of Sam scones from Douglas Sweets Deb and Hanna donate the profits to the Sam Cohn foundation

We so appreciate everything that Deb and Hannah have done for our family…

SamStones such a wonderful idea. Thank you Deb thank you Hannah thank you Douglas Sweets ! We love you !
