It snowed a ton last night and kept snowing all day. The Rhoads went great so Finn decided to hang out at our house all day which was fun.… I had a field trip to go to so I drove in to UVM where our team members andrea, abby, abby’s friend julia and I were meeting at the Vermont fablab at the invitation of our team members Shannon… I helped to start this fab lab back in 2012… It was so fun to see how much it’s grown.

Take it vantage of being on campus to go see my friend Dave and the model “davenport’s” motor reproduction that he’s building. This was the first motor at least in the United States and maybe in the world it was packed it in 1836 by Vermont blacksmith Thomas Davenport… David has made this wonderful model For us that actually runs !

I got home in time to join Diane and Finn on the sledding hill behind the house. I didn’t have a huge amount of snow but enough to make it fun and fast

Our friends Rachel and Tasha Left this morning for Brooklyn… It’s been really nice having them. Rachael and I are coworkers for so many years I can’t even remember… It was really nice being able to talk to her about IBM past present and future. It was also really nice getting to know her daughter Natasha. She’s an amazing kid

After they left I had a really busy day at work… Part of our team met over at d2 To work on one of our demos with our friend jake.… I really enjoy working with all these folks. I know I should details here of the projects but the stuff is just so cool !

There were lots of kids around work because it was a school holiday… My friend web… (My friend Sarah’s son) surprised at all by showing us his Grateful Dead underwear… I happen to be wearing my Grateful that sucks… So I had to take a picture which I call “dawn of the dead”

Later on Dianne picked up Finn… Whose 12th birthday was last week. We had our own birthday party with him with a strawberry cake that he and Diane had made. Is really fun having him around.

It’s been raining for two days… Almost all the snow is gone. Our friends Rachel and tasha are still here .. So I wanted to at least get Raechel outside. We took a short hike around the gorge… Even with the snow gone it was beautiful. Huntington was way up so seeing the water coming over the falls was a fun adventure

Today was a bit of work day… Our friends Rachael and tasha are here looking at schools. It’s been nice hanging out with them.

I started out the day by taking pictures of all of the alien faces on our bedroom ceiling. I did it for my nephew berticcis who told me about the word “peredolia” Which is the human tendency to see faces and things… So this is for you Berto

Also important to point out that today was “twosday”. that is tuesday the 22nd of deb.. the second. month 2022. at 22 seconds after 10:22 pm
