Friday evening – love my Fridays

The only thing that feels different about being retired for me is that I mostly keep my Fridays open… That means more hang out time with diane, more exercise ands more just goofing around..

Today that mean takign a quick snowshoe up to libbys look !

happy to be retired-ish

Thursday night – young folk

We had a large tour from Charlotte at Beta today.. always fun to see what interests the kids and what kind of questions are on their minds

Later in the day I went by Generator and checked in on the First Robotics team there They are making such great progress. It’s worked out really well having their team meetings at Generator !.

Finally ended the day with a different set of kids.. our fathers group had our quarterly-ish gathering at the Public house in Hinesburg. We’ve been meeting for 32 years (!!!) .. it’s so nice to catch up with these guys.. ! We’ve been together for soooooo much stuff !It feels like “home”

Wednesday night – Paper dolls

Still snowing out.. makes me happy!

Believe it or not, it’s not too early to begin thinking about burning man. We’ve begun meeting every Wednesday to begin working on the “robustification” of Fluffy. .. One of our. first goals is to see if we can simplify the installation of the clouds. To assist that, I  made laser cutout versions of all the clouds. The gang met here at the house and began to re-assemble the puzzle.. and see what pieces we may be able to leave out.

Oh.. one book recommendation.. I just finished “The Disappearing Spoon”  by Sam Kean.. it’s a wonderful set of stories about the evolution of the Periodic Table and all its wonderful inhabitants. I really liked it !
