Cabin fever kidn of day.. it’s the second stick season between winter and spring … the best thing is to get outside.. We did a nice hike through the Richmond Town Forest. Its so near us, but we’ve only walked it once.. We stayed on the trails for awhile then bushwacked down to a trail we knew that heads towards Richmond Pond. On the way we found some cool evidence of hijinx past:

 

On the way back we found this amazing uprouted tree stump..

Todayt we did one of our favorite loops: catamount trail to honey hollow.. It’s about 7 miles mostly on wide dirt trails. .. just up and down. It was great being outside. 

 

Came down the hill to find soem great bumper stickers on one of the cars parked there. 

I ended up goign to work.. had a project that was due.. and almost destroyed it in the process. pretty fristrating.. but I knew I had to walk away and come back to it . 

Later at home.. our power was knocked out by a storm. We’d already invited our friend  Mark over… we decided to go ahead with dinner by candelight and flashlight. It was great getting to spend soem time with Mark. He and I are working together on FIRST Robotics. He is the FIRST in Vewrmont presisdent and  a really great leader.. super hardworkign and always optimisitc

tToday started with a visit to the Toyota repair shop… Our car needed a software update… That’s pretty cool. While we were there, they changed the cabin air filter and found that somewhere a mouse had gotten in there !

We replace dthe screen… I went home and immediately put out have a heart traps… 

 

It was a beautiful day so we got out for a hike, on the duck brook trail 

 

It being stick season we’re all going to little stir crazy so we decided to get a puzzle going… Reminded me of Covid in the best kind of way !
