I woke early  today and dint even look at the news.. I had no idea what to expect.. When I went to bed things were looking kinda weird.. I walked outside  and daine was there.. whe asked for me to go look at the sunris

it was red..   
thats when I knew how the elction had gone

*sight\* .. certainly not the outcome we wished for.. 
lots of thinkign to do now..

ps. with this post I’m officially caught up with my blog. That means I just wrote 69 days worth of blogs relying on my memory. my pictures, my calendar and my family to reconstruct the days.. Here are a few thigns I’ve noticed in doign this catch up

• I am very lucky to have such a loving family
• we live very busy and fun  lives (generally)
• We have a lot of wonderful friends.. .. many of whom stop by ourh ouse
• we have a really great circle of very close freinds that we see often
• we do a lot of hiking !
• I take a whole lot of selfies with me and diane.. too many ? … never !
• It weird not to be able to write about my work. Its such a huge part of my life and interests.. it feels funny not to be able to reflect here..   I feel that anyone reading this might not realize that I’m working fill time  between Beta and my work with IBM
• Im very glad to have caught up on my blog. I was thinking of giving it up.. but its such a great resource.. I hardly ever go a day with out referring to it to find a picture, place or person,.
• I now have 6491 blog posts.. which  means since I started I’ve missed only 81 days.. all of those were during the times i was off line for the Colony.. there are a couple of days missing from crossing the international date lin
