Back into a more normal week. Max and Becky are up in Montreal.
Met my friend Pamela at the airport on her way back to NYC to grab some hats from her. I’m making her soeme of those weird light up eyes. She’s so fun
Busy day at work.. then met up with Diane, Tim, Jen and Deb at a pottery workshop Jen was runniong at the town center. She’s gettign people to design and glaze simple bowls that will be sold as donations the No Empty Bowl charity.
Ther ewere many freinds from town there. It was fun making stuff with so many freinds. there were simple designs (liek mine_ ..a nd soem real masterpeieces.. check out what Nate made !
NIce slow mornign after the busy wedding yesterday. Jac and her boy freind Sasha came by bringing sweets on their way back to Brooklyn.. We had a. nice late breakfast.. Max used a UV laser I had to burn a heart in one of the sweet rolls. ..Weird but very typical behavior at a Jonesville Breakfast .
AFter breakfast I took Gabe back tot eh Airport .. He’s been super disciplined while he was in town. He worked every second he wasn’t part of the wedding. Sounds like he got alot done !
im sper glad he was able to break away to come in for the wedding.
Today was Abbott and Meagan’s wedding. Abbott and his older brother Mason are two of our kids best freinds.. and frequently were at each others houses growing up. They continue to be a big part of our lives. Its so great to see Abbott gettign married to sucha. wonderful woman. Meagan is wonderful.. and they are such a great pair. there was a great setup for the wedding. The whole thing took place at at the Sleepy Hollow Ski touring center about 15 minutes from our house.. but completely out in the woods. THe place is having a great year because of the snow . it was a great setting for a wedding
The ceremony was at 10 in the morning.. .
Mason was there doign music as the family and friends filtered in. CHeck out the view of camels hump behind him !

Freinds were here from all over. some from high school. some from brooklyn, some from portland, santa fe, etc.
D&D friend Orion officiated
. no pics allowed for the ceremony.. It was short and very sweet. Orion led the intro and Abbott and Meagan exchanged vows they’d written. THey were really wonderfully and thoughtfully written. Which was great because it was under a tent outside .There were heaters on .. though . it was about 10 degrees F.
After the ceremony, we all headed back into the party room for a quick snack… and soem more pics.

Meagan’s parents were soo fun and gereat ! I taled to her dad for a long time a few tiems durign the night
Then back inside for a bit.. before we all scattered for the day. Wedding guests had full run of the ski center for the whole day up until the party this evening. We all wernt out for a cross country ski in the beutiful snowy woods

After skiing.. we all headed backl to our homes or hotel rooms.. until regathering in the evening for dinner and dancing.
The dinner was catered by a great dominican cook. It was fabulous food !
As soon as dinner was over, max got the music going.. he is an amazing DJ.. great tunes.. sell mixed. He’s a pro !

From then on it was dancing until near midnight !
Mason also took some time on the dj board. hed did a great job too !
At the end there were abotu 6 of us.. and we helped pick up dishes and clean the place.. ..w which actually was super fun too !
At teh end,.. there aewr about 8 of us still hanging around.. they went off to their rooms.. a.. Diane and I drove home happy and tired… What agreat day ! Congrats Abbott and Meagan.. Wishing you a life of happiness and fun.. this was sure a great way to start !
Slight lull in the action today as the kids do their own thing. Gabe is locked in the office upstairs working on his thesis. and max and Becky are out visiting friends. Kinda peaceful..
I got a part I was waiting on for a work project today.. a speed control’ somehow fitting in what had been a fun and hectic week..
