great progress at work today.. really enjoying workign with my freind Willem. Cool project.. maybe later I can talk about it. 
GOt hoem to help Max with his potato cannons.. they are having trouble with the cold air.  THey wouldnt fire if fueled in the cold air. We tried a ton of exxperiments and realized that the temperature of the air was what mattered most in making them work.  They worked great if they were fueled inside in the warm air.. then taken out loaded and armed to fire in the cold. Weh had fun practicing on ome of the pinatas that max had strong up 

We helped max and gabe prep for the cbachelot/bachlorette party tonight.. then made ourselves scarce

We headed out to dinner and  a movie !. We saw the latest  Captain America. movie. Not great cinema.. but fun.. we were almost the only ones in the theatre which was fun too !

After the movie.. we went home and causght the tail end of the party.. really nice group of … cant call them kids anymore.. people !

I liked the shot of the potato cannon and sam. he loved things like that !

The boys had a greeat time in Plainfeld last night. they’d rented a huge farmhouse,. It was modern.. but not all that heated.. which was an adventure as it was way ebelow 0 farenheit last night.

They came home, then Max picked up Becky !.. So the gangs all here !

The snow keeps gettign deeper. the drifts are now up to teh top of our pool wihich is 4 feet

Late in the day, Max and gabe headed out to Plainfield for Abbots bachelor party.. They were prepped. they had to rifled potato cannons, two big bags of potatos, mapp gas, hair spray, a box wull of pinata, two bags of birdseed 10 pounds of flower, a huge batch of cookies, beer, seltzer, wine , half of the contents of both our fridges , several video game consoles and g-d know what else.

It was fun watching them pack!

The snow continues to be wonderfully ridiculous.  Here are pics of our xmas tree (on its side, the back step so covered you cant tell its two steps.. and my beutiful 5 foot heighth guide standing besides  a plowing pile

Mid morning Gabe came in after being ‘stranded’ in Chicago over night.. I say “”stranded” because  he got to hanfg out with deb and elliot at debs friend’s suzy’s house.. Turns out our friends Kyle and Hunter and  Ryan was on the same plane !

Then back to work for me.. 
That evening stood back and watch as Max powered through a bunch of stuff he was doign for Abbot and Meagan ‘s wedding.. Eg. the first rifled potato cannon i’ve ever seen !  Max made a rifling tool and ran it down the pipe. (The canon  worked amazingly well) 

Lso making an ice sculpture.. all this for the bachelor party in plainfeild

Later, diane busted out a surprise. Last time we were in Endicott, she baught a full dinneer at Phils Chiicken House. A family favorite of all three boys. SHe brought it back frozen and surprised the kids with it tonight. Checkin, mashed potatoes, slaw,.. not soemthign theyd usually get at home.. so that much more special !

The boys made a funny .. maybe boitter sweet – discovery. they were goign throiugh old video games and found this ‘cute’ message from Sam

then a night full of gaming !.. uh.. actually both of them working , actually !

Great to have them home
