Likely a result of all the company we’ve had .. we have a very low flowing well.. and runnign it down stirs up sediment. It eventually cleared
Diane and I took advantage of another beautiful snow day to get in s ski before work. I love the early morning slanty sun of winter

Today is my 66th birthday !. Its the oldest I’ve ever been… I feel so very grateful for all the love Iand fun I have in my life. <3 .
Thank you out there for being part of that !
Diane and I decided to do one of our favorite snowshoe hikes in honor of my birthday. we had planned to do the 5ish mile hike from Bolton Notch road back to our house by way of Duck Brook
It turned out to be much more challenging than we ever imagined. We’ve done this hike zillions of time.. but today there was waist deep light snow making the going very hard and slow… and at the same time fun and beautiful. We realized at teh pace we could do in the deep snow we might not make it home before dark.. so we decided to strop mid way , have our picnic and head home.. better than speendign a cold night in the woods :-).. aIt was a perfect way to spend my birthday.. outside with all the beutiful snow !
We got home happy and tired..
Diane made me my favorite apple cake for my birthday..
Then we did what so many other folsk were doign that night. We made soem great food (cabot mac and cheese).. and sniggled in to watch the superbowl commercials !
One of the opening songs was by Trombone Shorty.. whcih meant our good freind Josh was there.. he’s the light guy for Shorty

Then came the commercials.. they were great.!
I think there was some football in there somewhere.. but that wasn’t the point 🙂
