Sometimes these titles, I come up with crack me up… Today had both flowers and VASE.. But not the kind of vase you think… Vase is the Vermont Academy of science and engineering, and we hosted the spring meeting in our beta manufacturing building. It was an excellent meeting… But before I go there, I tried to get pictures of all of the beautiful tulips and other flowers that are blooming and Diane’s gardens along the walkway
.
the vase meeting begin at 5 PM sharp… We had 50 people and we managed to get off four tours eat a ton of pizza and beer and get all of the introduction done talks done on schedule and closed at 7:30. Great thanks to my vice colleagues were helping me with the logistics on this and huge, thanks to my beta colleagues who helped with the t and the security around the visit. It was super fun.
I was very proud to host vase… I’m extremely proud of how this organization has affected the state through our grants programs t… We’ve given over $250K in the last nine years to individual teachers and teams
Eveline is still in town. I invited her to come see Beta. She is an environmental architectural engineer, and her company was involved in the design of the sustainability features of our manufacturing building. She really enjoyed getting to see it all working. I was actually able to introduce her to some of the team.
Small yoga class tonight… That sometimes happens when the weather turns beautiful.… It was still very fun
I noticed this morning on the way to workthere’s still snow on Cochran Hill. That’s about a mile from our house and almost the same elevation.… I suspect this week will be the first that there is no snow anywhere except in the mountains. That’s OK I’m ready for spring.
After work, dynamite took a fast walk down to the lower gorge. The river is still up… And always beautiful… So are Diane’s flowers !
May 4… May the fourth be with you Today is my father’s yard site. He died in 2014. I miss him every day. What a great guy. I thought about him a bunch today… That’s not unusual though.
Miss you Pa !
