Saw this beutiful guy on my way to work

Midday. dDiane came in to work and we took a refresher CP and AED course form BETA’s wonderful safety lead Holly. Wew’re doign the refresher wbecause we are headign to burnign man and wanted to brush ip on first aid and the use of Fluffy’s new AED heart restarter,  it was good to practive as soem of the recommended steps have changed.. ie, you dont do rescurwee breathing on an adult, just chest compression.. who knew ?!

This afternoon we had our FIRST annual in person meeting. Mark. Liz and Joe had done a great job of preppign for the meeting,. we had great mexican make youre own burritos.. The first part of the meatign had team coaches and team members.. the second half was just the board. revising our plans for the next year.. 

I was so proud to see all the progress we’ve made over the last 4 years.. Its really inspiring to me!

Today wafter work I walked over to CNC van conversion. it’s actully only about a miutes walk from the front door of South 40. 

That’s where  where Skunk and his partner Claire Deluxe are buildign their burning man structure

Skunk has all the metal cut out usign the plasma cutter we have at generator .. the metal work is beautiful. I’m hopign to help out in some way  on the lights.. but it’s goign to be tight.. they have lots to do before shiping the piece to Black Rock City.. and I’m tie up gettign ready for Fluffy’s 4th trip..

Tonight we had our first fresh tomatoe sandwich of the season.. hopefull the first of hundreds.. nothing better than a hand. picked tomatoe fresh form teh plant, mayo. (in my case) chedder cheese and a tiny bit of salt

My mouth is watering just writing this !

After work we were sittign outside having dinner when I spotted this huge beetle walkign across our yard.. he was a handsome fella 
.. and very persistant.. luckily not camera shy

After dinner we took a walk up tot he vezinas.. our frinds Sam and Souli where in with their kids… was great catchign up witht hem

Got hoem to notice a fluttering in the light in our tower.. Looks like we have bats in our belfry again !.. qw knww they ere up there.. but this is the first time we caught them flyign around inside. 

Now what ?
