We stayed up late watching billy play then headed home to billy and Shaiuns to sleep 

Diane and I woke up early and headed outside to teh pool.. what a g-d send on a hot day !

The house woke up slkowly.. once chris and billy were up, we got to see the very cool  (no pun meant) ice powered AC he’s been making..   Its super well designed.. he’s got soem mad skills !

Blly headed out for a parade where hes using his mclaren which is covered with hot wheels decals.. In return mattel sent him 700 hot wheel cars.. they coem later this week. We tried to drove out and see the parade.. but it was over before we got there. I

Fron there we headed to the beach hose.. the new star of those parts is bills ‘Sherp‘ .. a ukranian ambphibius vehicle.. Very crazy deivece. the wheels are as big as diane. you cen inflate or dflate them from inside the vehicle.. low pressure and you can go over anything.. including driving on water !

Great to be by the ocean.. the Gulf of America.. not sure I’d go that far !

Funny picutre.. DIane and I are trying to track down soem Bats in our belfry.. we have a big colony of bats living up tehre again.. so we put out  one of our game cameras// so far this is the only creature it caught .. me !

Wheres the best place to go when its too hot to stay in Vermont ? Head to Houston !. Diane and I are takign a short vacation visiitg Billy, Shawn and their kids donw in Houstan and Galveston. Billy and I have a meeting next week,. so we deciced to have soem fun too.. >> We got there about 10PM and met up with shawn in the Heights. Billy was playing with his bad the Texas Turbines at a club.. he was playing Bass in this band.. he sounded grea.t .. supwer fun to sit outside in the heat and watch great orgginal music. 

Lookign forward to this weekend i.. we’re ll headign to Galveston to Shaun and Billys hous tehre. .. At tleast we’ll have a sea breeze.. I hope !

THis mornign I went to UV to meet with my freind Doug who does high energy gas spectroscopy.. I’m workign on soemthign that might be related at work. It was great seeign his setup again.. he looks at 10 degree gasses and tries to figure out whats in them.. not too unlike soem of the stuff I liek doing 

After hours we had a treat.. tmy freind Rachel braught he Hackclub interns and gap years  to Beta for a tour.. I’ve been workign with many of these students and they are so amazing.. smart and fun. it was a pleasure to show them around !

I enjoy workign with people who love what they do !

Oh man its hot.. I think it got up to 97 today.. Heres the car temp to show it .. the car was sitting in the sun to be fair. 

we’re all wearing as little as possible to work. here’s me and my freind Ed looking like twins. 

I gave a tour today to My good freind Tati, her sone Dmitir and hes GF Leah.. great to show them around in the nice AC> 

came home, floated in the pool and foudn ways to think cool. One good way was to eat one of our first tomoatoe sandwiches from the garden. THen eat berries for desert  Noting says summer liek that !

Ahhh hgh summer (and thank goodness for our heat pump AC’s !)
