TOnight we had our annual in person VASE (Vermont Academy of Science and Engineering ) board meeting. Our fearless leader Grace hosted us in her beautiful place in ferrisberg.. she’s got a great view of the adirondacks from there.
I really enjoy my fellow board members and i’m glad of all we’ve gotten done in VASe over the past few years . especially what we’ve doine with our STEM grants.

I took a break at lunch to go visit John D and his son Tom. John is 99 and 1/2 year s old. He’s a brilliant material scientist. he found me thoruhg Genrator. He has soem very cool electrostatic particle seperators that he’s designed over his long careers. He’s looking for soemone to collaborate with>>
He gave me soem really great demos.. and I got to hear abotu his long career in glass, ceramics and metal poweders.. we had so much fun geekign out..
I also got to meet his son Tom .. TOm and I have a whoel bunch of common freinds.. its amazing we’ve never met !
I’m really happy to have them both as friends !

Pictures and movies from our burnign man camp are tickling in.. today we got these three.. the first two are about max and gabe breaking in to Burt and elezabeths trilor after they’d soemhow gotten loced out.. thsi was at 5 AM after an all nighter on the playa.. it was a great night. max managed to make a small cut in an air vent and got it open.. gabe stripped down to his shorts, greased u and lowered himself down through the vert o get inside Q@
