DIane and I started the day with a quick ski out on the rivershore.. the snows not very deep yet, but fine for us..

later in the mornign we ehaded to the town center for a craft fare.. and for an open house hosted by richmonds newly licenced low power FM radio station WRUJ.. THey are live online now, and will eb bruadcasting on FM radio at 100.5MHZ.. I’m particually happy to see this, because a few of us took a crack at doing this in the early 200’s . we got a licence application in, and rased a fair bit of money, but the ‘regime change’ in Washington of the time dropped the issueing of low power FM. I was super happy to hear that the moeny we raised all that many years ago was still around and helped wiht the start up of WRUH. I’m going to volunteer as part of the tech team.. there are already soem shows playign including one by our freind Don D. I think this is goign to be fun.. and hopefully helpful in emergencies.. we’ve had several weather emergencies involving power outages over the last several years.. this could eb a good way for the community to stay conencted.

while down at the town center we checked out soem of the crafts,. and as always checked out the pictures.. they have a small display about hte richmond academy.. the twin sister building to our home (jonescille academy) that was taken down may years ago.. thee two buildings were nearly identical..thoguh Richmond academy had round windows in a place ours has rectangles

later on tin the afternoon, my good friends Ruchir and Nick got together a video call to serenade our friend Roger who turned 80 today. Roger had a stroke back in april and has been in rehab since then. he just was able to come back home this week. It meant alot to all of us to get together..
Thats it for today.. more tomorrow.
