Busy day at work as I prep to be workign remotely for a while. One job was to clean out soem of my old stuff at D2.. I’ve kept a little work area over htere with my ID freinds.. and they are moving to a new space. Fu goign through old projects.. figururing out what to keep and what to through out before the move
it started snowing this afternoon.. and the roads were terrible .. took me 45 min to get home.

Quite day working around the house and getting ready for our trip. We’ll be gone almost 20 days.. so packing carefully. Not much more to report.

Diane and Ispent the day prepping the house for the change of seasons.. and for our extended trip to Oregon and SF to see the boys. We did get out for a quick hike at the Richmond town forest.. Its defintely stick season.. nice to get out
AT abotu 7 we headed to the Monitor barn for a dance that was organized by the local food shelf. Our freind Bucky was DJing.. many good freinds there.. .. it was fun to hang out and talk/dance > I hadnt been in the monitor barn for several years.. was nice to be back
we keft there about 8:30// and headed in to CHC Vnas near BETA. My friends Tucker, Derek, Chris.. and a bunch of others were holding their annual Soiree. .its also a fund raiser for local mightrant worker support.
It was a very differnt kind of party !. The guys had set up the fire organ in a tarp wnclosure connected to the building.. it was so fun to watch people enjoy it ! the building had been miracually decorated.. Icant beleive its the same place i’ve been working this week to get the fire organ going. Last wieek it was full of tools and vans being worked on. tonight it was beautifully decorated.. great lighting, a fashion runway, a bar and lots of nice nooks and crannys to sit and talk. THere were a coupl of live bands, a dj and soem great projection mapping backgrounds. I defintely want to meet more of the people in this community !
It was packed.. the vibe was amazing.. seemed like a party you might find in Brooklyn or LA.. At 11 there was a fashon show / rap put on by Tuckers freinds from Black Soul. it was amazing !!!!
Super happy to have helped a little with this party.. Hope to hang out more with these guys and make soem more stuff !
