We had a good amount of snow today which was really welcome.. .. everything looked so fresh. We knew the storm was coming and correctly predicted that the roads would be a mess.. so Diane canceled Yoga..
We took advantage of the free evening to go skiing on the river shore. It was really quiet and beautiful !

This afternoon our good friends.. and sort of relatives Bill and Debra, tehir daughter Clara, Son in law Sam and granddaughter Esther came buy for dinner along with my cousin and Bill’s cousin Jon and Jean..
Jon is my dad’s first cousin, and his mom and bills mom are. sisters.. so they are first cousins.. I think that makes bill and me freinds-in-law
This was our first tiem meetign Ester and Sam.. super nice family. Clara, Esther and Sam live in New Orleans..where Sam is a graduate student in philosophy.. I think thats so cool !
It was great hanging out with everyone !
Jon and Bill got out a family tree from their Moms’ side of the family.. Not my relatives.. but they looked relatively relatively

Quiet day at home. it always take s a bit to g3et used to the quiet of the kids and their friends going home..
Diane and I took a fast walk to teh lower gorge just to get out of the house.. The water looked cold and inviting .. soemhoew the thoguht of jumping in sounded appealing..
but not that appealing 🙂
