The snow continues to be wonderfully ridiculous.  Here are pics of our xmas tree (on its side, the back step so covered you cant tell its two steps.. and my beutiful 5 foot heighth guide standing besides  a plowing pile

Mid morning Gabe came in after being ‘stranded’ in Chicago over night.. I say “”stranded” because  he got to hanfg out with deb and elliot at debs friend’s suzy’s house.. Turns out our friends Kyle and Hunter and  Ryan was on the same plane !

Then back to work for me.. 
That evening stood back and watch as Max powered through a bunch of stuff he was doign for Abbot and Meagan ‘s wedding.. Eg. the first rifled potato cannon i’ve ever seen !  Max made a rifling tool and ran it down the pipe. (The canon  worked amazingly well) 

Lso making an ice sculpture.. all this for the bachelor party in plainfeild

Later, diane busted out a surprise. Last time we were in Endicott, she baught a full dinneer at Phils Chiicken House. A family favorite of all three boys. SHe brought it back frozen and surprised the kids with it tonight. Checkin, mashed potatoes, slaw,.. not soemthign theyd usually get at home.. so that much more special !

The boys made a funny .. maybe boitter sweet – discovery. they were goign throiugh old video games and found this ‘cute’ message from Sam

then a night full of gaming !.. uh.. actually both of them working , actually !

Max arrived today after visiting my mom in Minneapolis. He’s here for Abbot and Meagans wedding week. So nice to have him back here.

the snow is amazing so we immediately got out on skis

Later in the day we braved a trip out .. though the roads were a mess with new snow. We went to harbor freight and lowes for parts for several projects max weas doing for Abbot and Meagan’s wedding..  then we stopped by rebars .. he had been plannign a fluffy gatehring. but most people had to bail because of the roads.. Marie and Lefty were there.. They all know max.. so it was nice to all get together !

Gabe was supposed to be flyign in today.. he’s hard at work on his thesis.. so his plan is to fly here.. work like crazy.. then jump out for the wedding. His plane got canceled at the last moment in Chicago.. it was 9 PM so he was facing fininding a hotel to satay until their 6AM departure the next morning. Luckily Deb was on the same plane.. and so was our freind Elliot.  Deb called her (and our) friends Suzie and Rodger who came and picked them up.. wined and dined them.. agave them a place to sleep then took them back to the airport in the very early morning.. What would have been a terrible drag turned into a party ! Here’s a picture they sent

Today was valentines day .. truth be told.. not one of my favorite holidays.. too commercial.. We show our love for each other every day.. which is a great thing to celebrate every day. <3

We decided to enjoy the wonderful snow we have by climbing camels hump and butt sledding down. Our freinds Mel and Binh joined us. It was a beautiful and cold day. Quite a climb in the deep snow with only our spikes.. 

We ran into mour frind brusce on the trail. whcih was nice
