Friday night – Hagis 2.0

How many snow pictures will I have posted from under this winter? Diana and Nowak got out for a quick walk this morning… Nova has a habit of trying to drop her ball into ditches she particularly like dropping it into water. Fun but also sometimes hard to rescue the ball.

Had an interesting surprise at work today. I was heading over to one of our new buildings and I looked out on the runway and saw an Air Force Osprey vertical takeoff airplane.… This is one of the first mass produced planes that took off vertically by pivoting it propellers of work. It’s notoriously complicated and difficult to maintain, but it was very cool. CSean fly over and land and takeoff.

Tonight Diane and I met up with Debra and our friends Anne, Marie and steve at Zenbarn to watch a band called haggis. (2nd music show in a week !)  I think this tour is called haggis 2.0. It’s a really great Canadian band that does kind of Scottish rock. The lead plays bagpipes and sings and they’re all really fine musicians. They mentioned halfway through that they’re releasing an album with Grateful Dead. Celtic covers. Can’t wait to hear that. It was a great night really nice catching up with Ann Marie and steve

Thursday night – imagine

gosh… I was looking at all the pictures that I had for this day and they were really cool but they’re all of an internal  project which I can’t post about.

You’ll to just have to imagine lots of cool lights and wires and computers and wind and moving stuff.

did that work for you ?

Wednesday night – thievery corporation

Another nice snowy morning… After work, Diane Deborah and I went out grab dinner and then went to a concert at a higher ground. It was a band called thievery corporation that Debra had always liked.… It was very interesting… It was kind of a weird world beat/rap group with lots of musicians with lots of different talents of play. From what I understand, the group has been around for a long time and really started out is just two guys doing DJ stuff. Much more moody kind of house music stuff. So this is some sort of evolution. It was fun. We only stayed till half the show, but I love live music no matter what it is.

Tuesday night – Rajesh

another snowy dog morning.. we’re loving having Nova around.. and will really miss her once we move her to germany.. for now we’re really enjoying her company

had a fun meeting today at Generator with my new freind Rajesh.. He’s a serial entrepreneur who lives in New Hampshire. He’s got a program called zero2maker.   and zero2entrepreneur .,.
That he created to help kids learn about becoming makers and entrepreneurs. He’s created a really cool curriculum, including a bunch of comic books style workbooks that are really well done. He spends his time traveling around the world using this material with kids. He spent six months in Japan last year he’s done at Malaysia. He’s done in India. It was really great talking to him and his friend tree, who was traveling with him from India.… I got to take the two of them on a tour of paid as well which I think they really loved. I really appreciate that Rajesh made the trip up to check out generator
