My replacement wallet came in today and I had the formal changeover… It was more emotional than it should’ve been… I guess that’s just the way I roll. Anyway my new wallet is awesome and identical to my old wallet… That’s the way it should be.
Here’s a quick outside view of the new work at Max and Becky’s… The black is the new outside wall being prepared for stucco… Those windows are now part of Max and Becky’s new bedroom. It’s gonna be so great.

One moment thing that happened today is that my old trusty Tyvek wallet finally gave out…. This thing is made out of Tyvek, which is actually kind of a plastic size paper. I love this wallet, cause it has all sorts of measurement devices on it… I ordered a new one, but I’ll keep the old one for sentimental reasons.
Today on our dog walk… We were at the dog park and we heard someone called Violet… They also had a dog named Violet. We’ve never seen another Violet and the two violets enjoyed checking each other out.
We explored some new corners of the dog park, which was fine… This was down in Arroyo that went really far. The dog park itself is on the side of an old dump. We’re not exactly sure where we were today but here’s a picture.
I stopped at a grocery store to pick up some stuff and picked up some beets… Max and Becky are keeping track of the size of their growing baby by vegetables and this week it’s beats plus they’re greens… These don’t have all the greens so this is even smaller than the baby. Pretty hard to believe so cool.
Becky made Okonomiyaki for us all tonight. Okonomiyaki is a kind of Japanese serving pancake with all sorts of goodies in it. It’s got eggs and potatoes bonito flakes cabbage… It was really delicious… She’s such an amazing cook.

Yesterday I talked about working on the art car, but I also mentioned that we worked till two or 2:30 in the morning… So here are some pictures that actually were taken today… Very satisfying payoff to have the system done and the workload off of Max’s plate
We’re mostly eating outside at Max and Becky’s table… It’s a great opportunity to look at the clouds. The sunsets here are beautiful and so are the clouds. I could stare up forever.

I had a busy day working remotely today. We had a big test back in Vermont and I did my part remotely. It was fun and a little nerve-racking. But in the end, it worked out fine.
Our goal and being out here is to help Max and Becky in any way we can to help them get ready for this kid. And Max’s case it means getting some of the other things off of his plate. He has a paid gig right now to help a burning man camp rewire their art car to be able to carry three tanks of LPG instead of Won. Max and I worked from about 7 o’clock till about 2 o’clock in the morning making that conversion. It was so fun working together with him. We’re very compatible workers.
It was incredible sense of déjà vu working on an art car like that… There are many things that are similar about this car as Fluffy… Including light up clouds that I had to move around… Have to admit it was a little triggering
By the end of the night, we have the system completely plugged and ready for pressure testing… It was very satisfying work
