Friday night – GIV and moon stuff

The code I wrote to see if we could locate Gabe stolen phone caught that it had moved last night… But haven’t heard from it since.

We are assuming it’s lost for Good… Sigh

On more local yuckiness, the dreaded pink slime… I was interested to read that pink slime is not a fungus or anything. It’s actually a bacteria that creates this jelly goo to protect itself from its environment. It looks like pink worms all over the pool… It’s hard to get rid of, but we’re trying.

High point of today was going to University of Vermont to speak to the governors Institute of Vermont math camp. It was really fun to meet a bunch of high school kids who love math that much. Polly talked about our data and math program at beta and I talked specifically about some of my acoustic analysis, which has some pretty interesting mathematics. We also brought one of our demos and it was really fun to see the kids play with it.

Dan and I took a great after dinner walk which we’re trying to do as often as we can… The moon was amazing

On the way home, we saw that someone had driven over The Kid shaped sign that our neighbors should put out the prevent people speeding on Cochrane Road from veering into their yard to avoid the speed humps

thats pretty sick for somone to do that.

nite all, nite sam
