Monday night – Röntgen’s lab

Nice doggie walk to start the day.. we now know these trails pretty well. we went throgh what we call the ‘grotto’.. which was all dried up.. even the ancient fountain was dry

Wurzburg has a long history of scence.. at least 14 nobel prizes have come out of the University of Würzburg where gabes working.

We decided we wanted to see more of that.. so we took a bus in to town to catch the only museum opem today.. the hose and laboratory of Wolfgang Röntgen . the discoverer of X-rays. .. THe museu was small.. but really nicely displayed.. it had lots of history abotu Röntgen’s career and his life. He had a long happy marriage .. his wife was an important collaborator in his work. THe story is that the wirst time she saw the bones of her husbands hands shown on the florescent plate, she screemed and ran out of the room.. !

then home for another dog walk..

Nova has a nice place to live !

nite all, nite sam
