Second night in Las Vegas… The city that never sleeps in which is probably why I can't.had a pretty good day here today. The thing I was most proud about was sneaking into the keynote session that was already full. We waited in line for more than a half an hour only to be turned away at the end because the meeting room was full. It was something I had really wanted to see . I didn't want to give up so easily. I poked around on one of the other floors and found a service stairway behind two sets of doors. I walked up to the fifth floor with the big meeting was happening and came out into a service hallway. I crept across the hallway into one of the restrooms and hid there for a bit. And then walked out like it always been there and sure enough they let me in. I guess I shouldn't be so proud of that… Especially since they started letting people in around halfway through anyway. Still I felt like I've gotten away with it.… Hey what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas… Right?
Actually really best thing that happened to me today was I got to spend some time with my cousin Mark. It was great catching up on family work life beer etc.
Now, Just back from a late night hacking session. We have to redo one of our demos for some pretty strange reasons. But once again I find myself in Las Vegas writing code and wiring things up into the night. I guess that's the thing I like doing best in Vegas at night.
Am i a nerd or what?
Night all, night Sam
