I’ve just had a really, really wonderful experience. Today I attended “campus Party’. at the Guadalajara expo. . It’s an international event held various places around the world. that gather college students and startuss for a mix of an party hackathon, and crazy campout. . Its’ unlike anything I’ve ever seen.. If I heard right there were 16,000 students attending.. Most of them camped in a huge room full of 8000 tents (yes.. thats 3 zeros.. ).. I’m not even sure it was possible until I waled into the camping pavilion. It looked like.. like .. I don’t even have words.
I spent the entire day talking to brilliant students and entrepreneurs about their projects and plans.. I even got a chance to do a keynote.. there were more than a thousand folks in the audience.. and it was really. really fun. I spoke on a combination of Play at work and IoT.. it seemed to work for this audience > I also had some fun interviews with press.. good questions, nice folks.. My deep , deep thanks to the organizers of Campus Party and my colleagues at IBM for all their help in putting this on.. and keeping me (mostly) out of trouble.
i can’t even describe how cool it was talking to all these folks.. I must have been in over a thousand selfies today.. i took 300 of my own.. I hope by looking you can get the amazing mood of this event
More tomorrow..
nte all, nite sam
