I am grateful that it is finally spring.. I know its spring because i’m being dive bombed by ladybugs as I type here..
Did you know that ladybugs can emit a disagreeable oder when yo try to shoo them away.. ?

There is a bug spray made by Ortho, called Home Defense Max that can help if you are getting overrun. However the most efficient solution I have found is to just suck them up with a vacuum that has a long hose/tube attachment. They can stain things, emit that wonderful odor and even cause trouble with some electrical outlets/connections by getting into things. We have been getting overrun with them ourselves where we live. And, for the record the orange colored ones are in fact a form of Japanese beetle that can actually bite with a bit of a sting.
