Dry martini… what an oxymoron.. I just got talked into a drinking a dry martini by my freinds mark, david and norma.. it got me thinking  about the word ‘dry’.  there’s nothing dry about  it.. it is quite wet.. and it tastes like chemicals.. but very pleasing  chemicals.

I was taught that dry means very little vermouth.. .. mark told us a story that the perfect dry martini is made by getting the vermouth just near enough to the glass that the light from the sun shines through the vermouth on to the gin…

which reminds me.. this is actually my second martini this week.. and .. this year .. i beleive.. the second one was made with vodka.. which tases like paint thinner… the first was made with gin.. which tastes to me like more expensive paint thinner..

I don’t think I was programmed to drink gronwn up drinks like this.. give me a heady topper any day..

oh.. one cool think I just heard form my freind Sam that the Play! campaing that I did with Ogilvy last fall jsut won a Webby Award for best social campaign for education and discovery ! The same campaign won a bronze lion at Cannes .. . congrats to my freinds at Ogilvy for doign soem thing very. very cool.. keep playing !!!
