Nice day around the house. Diane , the dogs and I got out in  the woods today and saw that animals had eaten most of the seeds an backed stuff we’d let on the tree the other night

My Mom showed up around 3:15 and we’ve been hanging out with her, Gabe, Tom, and Deb…  .. There’s enough conversation going on around me that I was able to get a little bit of recreational tech done. My buddy Tim yesterday turned me on to pi-hole .. an open source ad-blocker that works for your whole house. It uses a raspberry pi to provide a DNS server that filters out nearly all adds on web pages, etc.

It’s an amazing project !.. such a clean install.. and great community.. Projects like this inspire me so much.. !!!

see.. no ads !  and it works like that for anything that uses our router.
