Greetings from Rashik… I had a very good day here in Iceland. I gave four talks which all went pretty well. Interestingly the biggest with 500 people in the audience the audiovisual system failed and I had to go ahead without charts from halfway on… It was my talk on play and I was just on the part of pushing through failure so it could not have been better timed.
I managed to keep going without skipping a beat and I think the audience appreciated that I ended on a new Icelandic turn that I’ve learned to love which is
“þetta reddast” (Note that first thing is not an IR it’s in Icelandic letter that’s sounds more like “TH”)
It means something like “it will all work out”…
And it did
Nite all, nite Sam
