We had an MIT – IBM client event here… And it was so much fun. I love hearing my colleagues talk about the cool stuff we’re doing. I found myself saying “managed be great to work there”… Always good to remind myself :-)Though I’ve been back to Japan many times in the last couple of years the last time any of us can remember me being in the lab was in 2011… (That can’t be right)…
In addition to all the cool people at the client event I ran into a Bazillion friends from Ibm Japan
The demos I was showing Ram well which was fun

After the event there was a nice reception then my friend Luka and another friend Rina Went to a great fish restaurant near work. My old friend satsumi Joined us… It was so great hanging out with the smart people
Later on my friend Kuse-San showed up… That was a nice surprise
Now I’m home and hoping to get some sleep… Before I went to sleep I talked to Diane. She just sent me this link about a mystery with dad. In Japan many people eat something called “Vermont Currie”… It’s incredibly popular all over the country. The question is why “Vermont”?…
OK… I can’t keep my eyes open anymore… Time to go to sleep
Nite all, Nite Sam

Ps I found this funny video that I made during a previous visit here several years ago… It’s a Japanese version of my engineer in paradise. Pretty strange and pretty funny. Check it out
