Thursday night – Gaze tracking

Super busy day in Cambridge . Friends in from California, New York , Australia and Singapore . I took a break late afternoon to go over to mit to meet with New friends Gladynel and Hsin-Yu . They are working with (awesome) prof Vivienne S on a project about measuring neuro-degenerative diseases by measuring eye tracking . For the next two weeks I will measure how my eyes track it down for an iPad screen sometimes following the dot and sometimes going the opposite direction (which is wicked hard). I like doing this because they don’t have too many volunteers who are “my age”… It’s also a nice tribute to my dad died of Alzheimer’s. I am 1% scared that they’ll find something and 99% happy to be doing something to help detect this awful disease . Btw if you’re around mit They could use more volunteers quote of a certain age” eg > 60. Let me know if you’d like to help and I’ll connect you

Back to work my wonderful friend Daisy brought me some homemade papusasas . She’s from El Salvador… And these things are awesome. White corn flour super think tortillas. With cabbage slaw tomato sauce. They are so delicious. She is so kind and generous !

I took my friends Susana, Claire and vittorio to the airport and got there just in time To meet up with me burning my friend Andrew and his wife were just flying in from San Francisco.. It was a fun alignment for sure

Now I’m waiting in an airport lounge getting ready for my flight to Pittsburgh. I’m heading to CMU for a meeting. Should be fun .

Nite all, nite sam
