Press the first half of the day at a fantastic strategy meeting for first robotics for the state. It was really a watershed moment which Brought together numbers of all first robotics program from the very Young to the most advanced into the same room. We were facilitated by the very wonderful Vijay Desai of desai management Who volunteer his time to herd these particular cats. It was an active and orderly discussion and we came away with five specific goals that we’re going to work on to help grow and sustain first robotics in the state… We have a lot of work to do but it felt like important progress. I’m so very grateful to Liz and Vijay for making this happen. I think we look back on this meeting many years from now and understand that it was an important advance in building stem skills for kids in Vermont
After the brainstorming session I came home and ‘Diane and I decided to go for a hike up a mountain we call “2360”… It doesn’t really have a name… The ones on maps it’s called “Wiley lodge peak” So it’s a nowhere really near where it while we watch used to be.… Anyway… There’s no trails but we bushwhack up to three beautiful ponds That were up there… It was a tough climb but worth it
When we got home we were beat… But we got an invite to go to see our friend Carole and Paul’s sugarhouse… Where they were boiling. Got in the car just ordered some pizzas and started driving there… On the way there ‘Diane saw something moving in my beard and pulled it out and OMG it was a tick !!!
We Picked up the pizzas and went to Paul’s sugar shack… It was a small space for the nice people and great boiling sap. We drank maple sap and rum and eat pizza… Doesn’t get much better than that
