Friday night – the flaming slips

Woke up at our air bnb near the park and made our way back to gabes. Sean and tucker worked on the roof of the house while the rest of took it easy.. I did show max around the scaffolding . We stuck a samstone in a hole in the roof before tucker did the work to cover it up

We took max and becky on. Nova walk at lauralhurst to see the flowers.. its amazingly lush out here

The rest of the day we puttered around the house . Beckys friend rebecah showed up on her way to seattle.. we walked to a food truck stand for yummy lunch and then just hung out. Diane worked on the gardons, sean annd tucker worked on the roof and I took a nap !

Late afternoon we learned that the flaming lips concert that max and becky had come in to town to see with gabe had been canceled due to ‘unforeseen circumstances ’ .. who knows .. maybe covid. Soon after max and Becky’s friend Bridget and her BF john and dog tony showed up.. they were also coming for the. Concert.. se we had to come up with Plan B. A fun challenge for that many people

We decided since they couldn’t see the flaming kips.. wed make our lips flame.. so we piled in cars and headed to KTown Korean barbecue !

All you could eat grilled stuff at your table with lots of yummy side dishes ..That was so fun and tasty and brought back great memories of times ive been to korea With friends!

If that weren’t enough, we stopped at a macha tea ice cream place on the way home.. a zillion choices on how you wanted to eat your macha.. which tastes like really yummy grass clippings !
