it rained on and off all day which gave us permission to put down our paint brushes and enjoy all being together

max , diane and I took nova to the park

then we all went out to brunch at a really nice place nearby

midday I spent watching max gabe playing a crazy difficult video game about cooking !

later we all went to burnside to check out some cool stores including the most amazing light bulb store I have ever seen, a bubble tea place and a really weird and exotic taxidermy and science oddity store

we went home and ran in to our old vermont neighbors oliver tone on the road .. he was the kid that famously got me in trouble with the elementary school when he went home and ate a battery after seeing me do a science demonstration at his school

then we did take out from a new and amazing fish and chips

place a few blocks from gabé. who knew that a fish and chips burrito could be so great ?! brought back great memories of alfors, the fish and chips

we finished the night at a local Mead tavern called Wyss that gabes neighbor ted really likes . yummy mead and a last call ceremony that involved drums, horns and aztec death whistles !
