Monday night – shelbourne museum

Wonderful lazy beautiful day. Diane. Rafe, Lolo and I started with a really nice long visit to the shelburne museum. I can remember a time i’ve explored so many nooks and crannys of that place.. it just goes on an on.. and it as such cool stuff.. a glass waling cane collection ?!  19th century wind up robots ?! Leeches ?

from there we took a short visit to show them fluffy…

then we headed down town to walk along the lake shore includign a nice dinner right on the water..  then a walk up and down church streen.

One nice thign about having good freinds visit is that you do things in your own town ypou rarely make time to do on your own !

Friday night – goodbye colbert !

woke up to a cold morning /… which is still nice as the heat starts to build

Diane and I have a ritual of watching Stephen Colbert in the morning while we do our stretching.… Not anymore… Today we watched his last video… After 47 had him fired. So stupid. Anyway, we get most of our news from the comics because they have a really good perspective. The Colbert farewell show was such a great outpouring of love and humor… It’s really cool to see him leaving with his head held high. We really enjoyed it and we really appreciate all he’s done for our understanding of the world.

we’re going to miss that show so much

headed inside a little sad.. this pictuer of Nava helping Gabe with his thesis cheered me up 🙂

we got another doggie fix by taking our next door doggie freind Oaklee on a walk up bamforth ridge towards the window

having lots of fun at work.. doing some fn sceince.. and still some dd jobs.. like this

I’m helping my friend Thom revive the old Babirusa flow container. The electronic lock on the door ran out of batteries so no one could get in… So I had to pick the lock. one of my most useful hidden skills . Glad I still have that in me. 🙂
