this mornign diane , oaklee and I took a quick hike up to the window. Oaklee is our neighbor’s dog… But they let us take her on runs and hikes… It’s so much fun. It’s almost as good as having a dog. Oaklee is a real cutie. She’s an Audssiepoo . Lots of energy very curious and pretty smart. She’s a joy.

Down at the house, the guys were finishing the paint job. It really looks fantastic.

A little later, her friend Raechel and her son Joe and came over. We had a lot of fun… We made hot dogs!

this week our freind Colby and his freinds Andras ansd Ben are painting our barn. I have been doing an excellent job… And they’ve been doing it quickly and affordably. Can’t say enough good things about these guys. Today they rented a lift and finished off the ends of the building. 

later on at work. I ran into my friend dean in the lunchroom over at kimball… His wife’s daughter works at Beta now… Hadn’t seen dean in a long time. We spent a lot of time at his house back when the boys were younger.

afer work, me and my freind and coworker thomas took a hike around libbys look. We’re working on a project together and we use the time to discuss a bunch of stuff around that… So this count is work 🙂

Today was a big day for Beta… Our boss Kyle was on good morning America flying one of their reporters around in CX 300… It was really cool to watch this real time. Kyle did an amazing job of showing off beta and Vermont countryside. Made us all very proud.

Later on this afternoon, we were all invited to come down to the ramp to see the formation flight of several of our planes, including the AE2S 50 with a vertical landing. We get to see these things from time to time, but it was really nice to have everything all in one place. There were several hundred that was out there watching it was really amazing.

Afterwards, I was able to show my friends nick and Caity around the flow container. It’s an art experience that my friend Tom, Ty Valencia and I are working to repair. Nick did the sound organ on the side of it. I think he was really happy to see it working.

Every year around this time, there is a great invasive species called Dame Rockets or flox Bloom all over Vermont. They’re purple and white flowers smells so great. They usually are all over our running trail… This year it looks like they’re being choked out by another basis… I hope this one has too.
