Is today the solstice.. or was it yesterday ? Soemwhere in between I think .
We had a relaxed day hanging in the hot tub, wrapping presents and hanging out wit the kids and george and doreen and violet
Mid afternoon wwe all went to ,,et max at ‘Cat’ .. the fabrication offices of Meow Wolf. Max is a Senior Fabricator thei r and has so much cool equipment and so many wonderful projects. As you might guess, there are no photos allowed in there.. .. but trust me.. it was amazing. I’m so proud of max and the skills hes developed in fabricating, cutting, welding. coding. wiring , ligting, pumping. .. everything we love to do !
Later that night max , becky and gabe whent to a part y that Max was DJ’ing.. George, doreen and I ordered indian take out and watched RRR again !.

Gabes here.. so we’re all together.. or as together as we can be these days. It so nice to be here. We always feel sam strongly when were’ all together.
DIane and I took a long walk downtown and down canyon road doing some last minute shopping and enjoying the beautiful sunny weather.
Today was my last work day for the year.. I had a bunch of meetings. Mostly fun stuff.
As I was in those meetings, I was working on some presents I’m making for the kids. At one point I inadvertently put a lipo battery down by my soldering iron.. found it just in time !.
While I wa sworking, diane was busy cookifying. She did sooo much work.. we had at least 9 types of cookies, brown butter shortbread, ginger snaps, hocolate/peppermint drops, peanut butter and chocolate kiss, peanut butter and reese’s cup, anise biscotti, chocolate biscotti.. kipferl and pizzelles . They will definitely get us through the holidays !
We had dinner together with everyone before max and I went to the airport to pick up gabe
Another work day. I spent much of it in meetings.. We did g4et to eat some candy.. we’re deep n tradition here.. so we got soem ribbon candy.. soemthign that diane always had around christmas time.. it’s pretty weird tasing but fun to eat !
Around Becky’s parents george and doreen showed up .We’re splitting an air bnb which is really fin. we like hannging out with them. !
