THis morning we all me at the Reno Generator.. maker space to begin assembling Fluffy.. We had to unload the clouds, order them.. then start the process of mounting them on the bus. DIane had the great idea to record the order and position of how the clouds were stacked in the bus to make it easier to repack them.
mounting and wiring the clouds involves lots f lugging and wiring.. but also fun .. sort of
We also got to take breaks to see all the other stuff being prepped for the playa in the Generator.. THere were lots of people working hard.. lots of fun, lots of stress
By the end of the day, we had one whole side of flufy mounted and lit.. good progess.. still much to do !
We headed back to J Sues.. it’s been really nice hangign out with her .
Mid morning we started our long trip to Reno.. We had two stops.. so it gave me lots of time to work on tehe plane.. I love my time in the air for getting stuff done.
We got to Reno about 8 Pm .. nad headed to our good friends Sue and Jim’s . Jim,s out of town.. Sues offered her house as a placw to stay while we work on Fluffy in prep for trasmer to the playa on Friday>>
Sue and Jim are our good freind Dylan’s parents.. When Sam died, Dylan really took gabe under his wing.. Dydlan was ana amazing snowboarder.. he actually won the US open snowboard competition in Copper Co…. and we were there to see it ,.
Dylan died in 2015 in a car accident and he bacame an organ donor .. just like Sam..
Sue and Jim moved out to reno a few years back and we’ve kept in close touch/

Today we made soem final prep for leaving tomorrow. one of the last things was making tags for things like our phones, bikes, bags, water bottles, cups, etc so they can find their way back to us on the playa if lost.
such a simple idea. saved my stuff many times in the past. Oh.. Diane has chosen a playa name.. Maple !// how sweet is that ?!?! nite all, note sam -me
