Dropped by CHris’s house on the way in to work,. I’ve had this QR code  that Max made to help Chris raise money for his HOPE project . Chris and Kim were workign on a new word garden and were surrounded wiht letters and sandblased stone.I love visitign Chris and Kim.. there’s always so much cool art happening around them.. . 

Great day at work.. then.I picked up DIane and we headed to my friends David and Pam’s place in Middlebury. We took Dave and our freidn Gary along with us. David and Gary went to summer camp togther for a zillion years.    There were soem other folsk at David and Pam’s this time.. m friewnd Steve and his wife Lindy, two neghbors whose names i’m not remebering and Flor.. another good freind of David and Pams..always great conversations aroudn this table.. we talekd abotu books, neews, herbalism.. and soemhow got on the topic of BETA.. FLor mentioed she had a freind whop’d worked at BETA.. We quickly realized our mutual freind was my freind Dan.. whos also very good freind with mygood freind and mentor Nicks son and daughter in law..    one of those great Vermotn small world things.. but NIck lice ins COnnecticut I

David gave me a copy of his new book ‘The New Lunar Society‘   which i’m really looking forward to reading. He’s also workign on a new book about the evolution of electricity in human lives.. I may be helping him wiht that..

Billy and I spent the day ayt the EnMed advisory meeting. It was such an interesting day !> We toured the facility including the maker space . Its the 8th year of the program.. and its growing in size and reputaion. the idea is to train the next generation of Doctors who can invent.. like billy and soem of his colleages on the board. whats interesting is how can you best teach the hands on try it, fail , fix it mind set to a group of med studnets who may not be comfortable with the  idea of failure 

The day was full of good talks and great conversations. I can see several places where I will be able to help the group even though I have almost no medical background.

Right after the meeting I had to run and pcik up diane and head strait to the airport for the flight home

Another lazy day at the beach.. we cleaned up and headed back to houston. I took a great nap to recover from all that relaxing 🙂 
when we got back home the 720 hot wheels cars that Mattel had sent billy for the use of his hotwheel decorated mclaren had arrived. Diane and Shauan and chris set in to sortign them out. it was so cool and nostalgic to look at all those designs. hot wheels were hot when I was a kid.. and evidently they still are !

around 6, bully and I headed to the Intercontental for the inaugaral dinner of the EnMed advisory group meeting.  EnMed is a meedical school that is part of Texas A&M. The thing that sets EnMed appart is that its grads not only get an MD, they get an MS in Biotechnology.. It was great meeting. we met all the other advisirs.. billy knew them all. Most were doctors and inventors like billy. (if anyoen is liek billy) .. one was even an astronaut ! . there were some business folks there two. lots of great backgroudns and great stories.

Not much to report today.. ust a lazy beach day.. we had dinner at a place that claimed to be Cajon greek.. kind of a weird mix.. but it was good !
