OK, it didn’t dawn on me until July 5 but the pills I take every morning are almost red white and blue

Today was a work day around the house. DIane and I are working to help Max and Becky get ready for the baby. 

Not much else to report.. but Chad came buy.. that was nice.  kind of funny to see him out of uniform 🙂

Happy Fourth of July everybody… It’s an opportunity to think about patriotism. I love my country and feel patriotic, but I hate our current government. That does not shake my love for the country. Let’s hope our democracy corrects itself as it always has in the past.

Diana and I took a walk this morning waiting for Max and Becky’s house to wake up… Today is portal fest and there’s gonna be a lot to do as their house is one of the stages

Diane and I got a chance to walk around and check out some of the other music which was fun

The staff had a change of people and it turned out that the new staff member at Max and Becky’s was Aviva… The daughter of friends of mine from Montpelier

We finally tracked down our good friend Chad… He had two bands there… One was called sad Barbie and I don’t remember the name of the other. He’s like 6 foot four and he and his band partners were dressed up in drag to play the most amazing music… Chad is an amaz, cool guy. Fantastic bass player… Which is another thing I never knew.

Ran into this guy with a rough T-shirt, which was really weird because her friend Bobby is in that band in Vermont… this guy was kind of a groupie of theirs

at the end of the festival there was an after party and Max was DJing. On the way there we got to see some of the fireworks and part of a drone show… Pretty impressive.

Max did a great show !

Got to Santa Fe and settled in over at our friend Tracy’s house which is right across the street from Max and Becky. They are busy getting ready for portal test, which is a local music festival… Their house is going to be one of the stages.

Today DIane and I are heading back out to Santa Fe to help Max and Becky get ready for their baby !

Jenn dropped diane off at the airport.. and I just walked over from work

Our flight just happened to be right when this weeks important test was happening. I ended up helping run my part from the airport gate area… It was an interesting test to be sure… I got lots of data which means I’ve got some crunching to do. I was like being in that position.

We ran into my friend Pam as we were heading towards our plane. Pam plays with Gogol Bordello… She is so awesome.

We got on the plane and I realized I was sitting behind my friend Luke, who is the son of my friends michael and Denise.… He was home visiting. He works at OpenAI and was one of the originator of ChatGPT. Super nice guy.
