I had a very relaxing day around Santa Fe. I wake up earlier than Max so I went out for a run… Love the weather and love taking in the sites.
Max and I had a really productive day on our project… More on that in a couple of weeks
We took a break mid afternoon. Max could show me some of the places he likes in town. We went over to make Santa Fe… It’s where Max work when he first moved out here. It’s a great maker space. It’s grown quite a b, it was really well organized.
Then we went over to the warehouse that Max and Becky help support of. It’s a small party space for some of their friends from around town. . We also dropped in on some of the art spaces that on either side. One it was an amazing stone sculpture. His work reminded me of our good friend Chris’s. The other side was a small group of meow Wolf people who bought and fixed up old European motorbikes. Very cool.
Later on that night, Max and I walked up to the railyard to hear a very cool AfroPop band.. it was a beautiful night to be out..
We finished up the night with some really delicious Santa Fe ice cream. I got one that was sumac flavored !
leaving tomorrow.. It’s been a great short visit !
I had a lazy morning while Max was at work. Made myself a southwestern breakfast with the addition of A1 sauce… Pretty funny A1’s been in the news because our new secretary of education didn’t know the difference between A1 and AI.. yikes !
He came home early for us to work on her project. It was very great working together… Not gonna show what we were working on here quite yet.
For our friend Chad and his very nice friend Rene came over for delicious Indian takeout. Fantastic meal and really great company.
I’m back on the road today… I’m going out to work with Max on a project we’re doing for an upcoming event.… I’m just making a quick trip… But I love going out there and I love hanging out with Max
I worked the whole way out there. I always feel very productive on longer flights.. The scenery coming into the Rockies and eventually to Santa Fe are beautiful
I got in with a few hours to myself before Max came home from work. It was nice walking around. I just love the weather out there.
Max and I met up around 7:30 and we walked up to tuneup for a delicious Santa Fe meal.… I’m glad I’m here
Super busy day at work… We have a deadline coming up next week and I have some travel for the rest of this week so I spent a lot of time making sure that stuff with still keep working while it was gone.
Towards the end of the day, Diane sent me a picture she’d seen on CNN of our good friend Ben getting escorted out o a public meeting where JFK Junior was ranting about something stupid. Made the point that the US stop selling bombs to Israel to drop on Palestinians… And for that he was arrested
Diane offered to bake the cake with a file in it , but I heard from him that he already broken out and was on the lam 🙂 that guy really is one of my heroes !
