this mornign diane and I took a very quick hike up tot eh duzbury window. Its kind of half 2winter still and half spring. Nothing green yet.. but not much white. Lots of ice so we had our spokes on
We always pass this cool rock with a small pond underneat. It’s still frozen ofver. We put a samstoen on it to see when it would fall through ala joes pond in the northeast kingdom.
At 5:30 I arrived at my friend John A’s house for a really nice gathering that he and friend Emily had organized to introduce folks that were in town for the big FIRST robotics competition (FRCC) event this weekend. This is the first event like this ever hosted in Vermont.. so we got ogether officials from the FIRST robotics leadership and the FIRST in Vermont leadership > as well as soem FIRST students . We also had some local business leaders. It was a wonderful gathering.. lots of new interos , lots of plans made !. This is the start of big things for FIRST in Vermont ! and the provost from UVM .. our host for the event !

Fun day at work.. After work Sat down with Max on a. zoon call for him to start teaching me blender. Max is in houston doignb soem work at the meow wolf there.. blender is an amazingly powerful open source drawing, animation and cad program. I’ve used it before.. but i’m not very good at it. Max has created a class that he’s given to his fellow meow wolf creatives.. He’s such a great teacher !!!!
After dinner, diane and I took a walk down to the river, and back by way of the river banks .. We noticed a very cool shadow of our houses tower.. and an old shoutout to sam grafitti’d on the bridge
Woke up early and dine and I had time for a quick hike up to the waterfalls on bamforth ridge trail . So amazing this is only about 1.5 miles from the house.
After work I dropped by the Hinesburg public house for a short visit with our fathers group.. I couldn’t stay long.. but it was great seeing everyone. Been hanging out with these guys for more than 35 years !
As I was leavign the public house, I saw this discription of the word “kuchisabishii”. ..
I had an after work meeting at Generator this evening.. on my way out I came across my good friends of the 9101 FRC robotics team. Theyr’e in the middle of their competition season and preping for our big event this weekend. Here’s my friend Maya showing off the engineering inspiration award
