Kind of a wet and dreary day,. we decided to take a hike up in the town forest. We’ve only just begun to explore it. 

This evening , another walk after dinner..  It was. one of those wonderful golden hour’ sunsets.. .. The beaver came out to watch as well.. This time I got a movie of him/her swimming !

I’m so greatful to live in such a beautiful spot !

I noticed today that my friend Bruce McDonald had a new metal painting hanging at BETA.. This is more representative than anything I’ve seen him do.. I really like it !

 

 

Tonight we were invited up to Deb’s for dinner. That’s always a great time. Tim and Jen were there too..  
Its like going to a museum whenever we visit !

ANd then there’s the food.. always fantastic… !  eating out on her porch looking out at the mountains

Took a great walk after dinner. trying too do that every night now that the days are so long.. really nice to get outside.. 

We got a chance to watch our neighborhood beaver swimming around.. 

he/she is always busy.. that’s why the beaver is the MIT mascot !

The Basement guys are doing a great and quick job. We found out that the main beam support was going to be a considerably bigger deal.. but a lot rides on fixing that beam.. aka the whole house !

I did get a few cool pictures of the old circuit posters that were used between the floor boards and floor joists. None are intact.. but still so cool to see. These might be from the 1860’s .. or maybe more recent ? .. 

I took lots of pics to see if we can find out
