This morning our friend Nick  stopped by with his  daughter Sophia.. She really took to our neighbor Carly.. Carly was happy to have a younger friend. t’s fun to see Carly look so big

 

 

Late that afternoon after work I headed to nordic to work on Fluffy. my new friends Matthew  and Malakai came by to help

Diane, Aaron and I did soem work on mounting the fire stuff.. We’re all getting pretty burned out at this point..t here’s still so much to do !

 

Today was the first time we had several clouds up on fluffy.. ehre are some quick tests I ran to show everybody the effect..

TOday I worked on the bus.. so much to do !..

I did take a break in the evening when our friends Austin. Caroline, Kaleo and Krista invited us over for a small burn in their back yard. Austin and Kaleo lead the build. I brought over fireworks, steel wool , cremora poofers and chemicals.. It was great seeing everyone and great all getting together

I did a cremora smoke ring that showed up as a heart !

ALl was well.. we ended with smores.. a great end to a busy week !

We spent the morning with Selim and Helena.. we took them swimming in honey hollow

we said goodbye to our friends and they drove off to boston.. it had been a great visit !

Later that evening , diane and I drove out to the clarks for an evening workshop.. their house is really fun…

I played hooky today from work and we spent the day hanging out with Selim and Helena. It was a really great day.

First vermont breakfast at home.. waffles and maple syrup

Then up to Puritans to refill the maple syrup and to get some for them to take back to Austria

 

then some sight seeing around richmond

then a quick tour around BETA .. where we got to see our friend Mary’s heart mosaic.. THere’s a samstone hidden in it !

 

Selim and Helena loved the mushroom conference room !

we then went downtown.. first a quick Poke lunch (yum !)

then some  church street  shopping

we ran into our friends Danika  and Braydon playing on church street

 

 

then we headed dow to nordic to show them the bus. .. No pics of that.. but right as the sun was setting we got in the car and headed back to all souls to catch a beautiful post sunset light show

we ended up at home with take out Chinese food and a very pretty moon !
